"Palm Green" is a book project I did from 2021 to 2022. The Palm House at Kew Gardens was the first glasshouse built on this scale. In this world-renowned glasshouse, rainforest plants from three regions - Africa, the Americas, and Australia - are covered.

Rainforest plants, occupying just 2% of the Earth's surface, account for 50% of all species, playing a crucial role in sustaining life on our planet. In this humid indoor rainforest, many plants are at the edge of extinction.
"Palm Green" is not only a photobook but also a three-dimensional map. It strictly follows the structure of the Palm House, it can be browsed from three different directions to enter different sections. It can also be stood upright, transforming into a three-dimensional sculpture.
This project celebrates the beauty of the Palm House while also conveying concerns about the destruction of rainforest vegetation.
This book received the third prize and official selection in the 2023 International Photography Awards book/nature section.
